About four years ago, my sister introduced me to the art of resining. I fell in love with it. I found it to be very relaxing and discovered that there was a creative side to me after all. What started out as a hobby quickly turned into a passion. I could no longer walk around a store and look at items on the shelf. I would start to think to myself “oh I could use that in a coaster or I could use that in a tray”. Things quickly went from coasters and trays to a variety of wall art. It didn’t take long before I also discovered the world of acrylic pours.
While I was excited about discovering the art of acrylic pouring, I opened up a new world of creativity for me. I started to incorporate my acrylic pouring with my resin work and a whole new world opened up for me. Though I am not as creative with the acrylic pours, it allowed me to venture into a different world of resining. Shadowboxes. I combined my love of the ocean and my love of resining to make beautiful seascape shadowboxes.
My shadowboxes quickly became a family affair, my husband makes the frames to my specifications and I add the rest. How lovely they turn out. It started out to be Pacific Ocean themed, but soon I turned to the tropics and started making tropical themed shadow boxes.
The ideas keep coming and I am loving what I come up with. Although I use many molds for my work, the colors and creativity within those molds are mine alone.
Please keep checking back for new inventory and updates about what is going on and coming up.
Until then, keep being creative.
